Produced by the Cona Institute, the Steklenik Gallery is moving after three successful seasons of conception and implementation of the program in the Tivoli Greenhouse. In the greenhouse, Cona has established an art exhibition space and raised the venue’s profile, attracting new audiences and promoting a synthesis of acoustic ecology with the potential of scientific disciplines. However, the Steklenik Gallery’s future is all about mobility and networking with partners who recognize the program’s quality and want to present it to their audiences. To this end, we are making a mobile eight-channel sound system for the presentation of artworks.

Featuring artists in the 2022 program include Marko Batista, beepblip, Colin Black, Thomas Gorbach, Boštjan Perovšek, OR poiesis, David Rothenberg, Bojana Šaljić Podešva, Robertina Šebjanič and Brane Zorman. They will present their works within the Steklenik Gallery’s collaborations with +MSUM, MGLC Švicarija, Kino Šiška, DOPPS Iški morost/Koščeva učna pot, Škocjanski zatok, Lokalpatriot, and other emerging partnerships. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate and showcase the program in acknowledged venues and look forward to the development and new prospects of the Steklenik Gallery.
