Saturday, 4 May 2019, 8:00 p.m
In the frame of radioCona: soundcamp 2019
The event will open with the presentation of numerous interesting details from the life of bats. They are able to fly with skill even in pitch black darkness due to the ability to orient with sound, so-called echolocation. In the dusk, we will go for a walk and listen to the sounds of the bats with ultrasound detectors.
Maja Zagmajster is a biologist and a member of the Slovenian Association for Study and Conservation of Bats. This association is striving to improve the knowledge of bats in our country, to protect bats and their living environment and to present these endangered but very beneficial animals to the widest possible public.
