AnimotMUZIK is a concert series that takes place in parks and gardens throughout Slovenia. Invited musicians perform in natural environments, where the sound of non-human animals becomes the score or inspiration for their creation. The cycle is based on questioning established methods of musical expression and invites the audience to attentive listening. Emphasising a mindful experience of the soundscape, it spreads awareness of the importance of nature for human culture and its influence on artistic creation. It addresses an inclusive, compassionate, and sound-rich possible future, where the concept of music is not limited to the framework of Anthropocene thinking.

The ecological concert series starts every year in the spring, starting on the first Sunday in May, and marks the International Dawn Chorus Day. The concert will be broadcast online at the 11th edition of the international project Soundcamp / Reveil. Listening will be possible at https://soundtent.org/.
Like fresh dew on a meadow, tea party will invigorate your body and senses, connecting you with the beings of the feral construction pit. As you drink tea made of Krater’s medicinal plants and listen to a sound meditation, you will connect with the fascinating urban ambience of a wild urban forest hidden behind a construction fence and embrace yourself for a multi-species musical experience.
Krater (2020) is a creative practice and eco-social construct, operating on a neglected and overgrown construction site considered for decades a degraded urban area. Krater became a domicile for a collective brave enough to reimagine their professions, studios and working conditions. In 2023, Krater Collective was awarded the highest national prize in architecture – the Pernik medal in the category of public space.
